Just two days after four people were killed in two domestic murder-suicide incidents in the North, another woman was nearly added to that list overnight Monday in Binyamina. The 66-year-old man was arrested near the house where his wife and son were staying, carrying a loaded pistol.

After an initial investigation, Zichron Yaakov Police said they suspected that he intended to kill the two family members.
During the investigation, it became clear that the suspect tried to shoot his son two months ago but a technical problem with the gun prevented the shooting. Police said the suspect is part of a crime family from Netanya, and his brother also was killed in the past.
On Sunday, in Kiryat Ata near Haifa, a 45-year-old man stabbed his wife to death and then hanged himself. In Masad in the Lower Galilee, a 58-year-old man shot his wife to death and then shot himself.
