Pakistan: Missile strike kills nine militants near Afghan border

Military and intelligence officials said a missile strike on a suspected militant training camp has killed at least nine people. The officials told The Associated Press at least four missiles struck in the South Waziristan tribal region near the Afghan border late Tuesday. A military official says at least nine people have died, but there is no information on their identities. Two intelligence officials say between 22 and 25 people died, including Arabs, Turkmen and Pakistani militants. The camp is linked to the militant group of Afghan warlord Gulbuddin Hekmatyar.
