The exercise, dubbed “Replay,” will involve firefighters, paramedics and other Israel Police units in addition to the Border Police.
The Border Police will hold a large security exercise this week that will simulate terrorist attacks and a variety of other scenarios.

The exercise, dubbed “Replay,” will involve firefighters, paramedics and other Israel Police units in addition to the Border Police, and will play out across a number of areas around the country.

“Due to the importance of the exercise and the need to simulate extreme situations, some disruption to the routine could be experienced, including traffic jams and the sealing off of roads and areas. The public is requested to be patient,” the Border Police said in a statement.

Members of the public have also been asked by the Border Police to “remain vigilant and to report any unusual incident to the Israel Police.”

A special emphasis will be placed on technological aides for emergency forces during the drill, which will be monitored by Border Police head Cmdr. Yisrael Yitzhak.

“Civilians and others will take part as ‘extras’ in the exercise, in order to make the simulations realistic,” the Border Police said.
