Baghdad: Six killed when bomb strikes minivan
A bomb struck a minivan carrying workers to an agricultural truck company in southern Baghdad on Monday, killing six, including one woman, police said. The blast occurred around 8 a.m. in Baghdad's violent southern neighborhood of Dora. The neighborhood, which is a mix of Shi'ite, Sunni Arabs and Christians, has been the site of daily bombings and shootings in recent weeks. Gunmen in Dora also shot and wounded a police officer heading to work.
