Police arrested two men in Tiberias, aged 19 and 30, for allegedly smuggling more than 11 kilograms of illicit substances from the Far East on Tuesday.

The suspects hid the illegal substance, which was in quantities large enough to produce tens of thousand of ecstasy tablets, in packages of pasta and vegetables.

The potential street-value of the ecstasy is estimated by police at over NIS 1 million.
