Scailex gets US tax rebate

Nasdaq-listed, Tel Aviv-based inkjet technology company Scailex Corporation said it received a $12.6 million tax rebate from the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) following an audit of the company's US subsidiaries.
Nasdaq-listed, Tel Aviv-based inkjet technology company Scailex Corporation said it received a $12.6 million tax rebate from the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) following an audit of the company's US subsidiaries. The rebate relates to the years 1992 through 1996. Scailex said it already has recorded $7.8m. of the monies as a tax receivable in discontinued operations in its 2005 results and expects to record the other $4.8 million as a receivable in its 2006 second quarter numbers.
