UAL-Ta'al MK Ahmed Tibi was "shocked" on Monday evening by Knesset Legal Adviser Eyal Yinon's legal opinion that the law can limit certain expressions in order to protect state security.

Tibi was one of three MKs who broke the gag order by using his parliamentary immunity to publicize the “Prisoner X” case

"I acted within my immunity, that is essential to doing my job in the Knesset, and I did not break any laws. I was defending the values of freedom, democracy and basic rights of the citizens of Israel," Tibi said.
