Chief of PLO delegation in Washington says US will examine proposal
Ambassador Maen Rashid Areikat, the chief representative of the PLO delegation to the United States said the US administration did not accept nor reject the Palestinian Authority's proposal for a two-state solution, but rather that Washington would look into it.

The ambassador said talks between the US and the Palestinian delegates would continue over the course of the next few weeks, although another meeting has yet to be scheduled.

The Palestinian plan, which envisages a full Israeli withdrawal to the pre-1967 lines within three years, was presented to US Secretary of State John Kerry on Wednesday by Chief PLO negotiator Saeb Erekat.
