Ya'alon attends memorial for fallen navy soldiers
Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon attended a memorial service for fallen navy soldiers in Ashdod on Tuesday night and talked about the challenges facing the region.

The Middle East is continuously changing, he said, and "we must be prepared for every development."

More challenges lay ahead, the defense minister said, adding, "From near and far, there are terror groups, countries and entities that have not yet accepted our existence and our right to a Jewish homeland."

He vowed to reach out "our hands in peace with our neighbors," because that was how "we were raised," but cautioned that Israel will not fool itself.
