Glick has intestinal surgery, condition improves slowly
Surgeons at Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center were “somewhat more optimistic” about the recovery of Yehuda Glick on Monday after performing surgery to repair his intestines, which were severely damaged in an assassination attempt against the Temple Mount activist last week.
The operation was performed by a team headed by general surgery department head Prof. Petachia Reissman. He said that there has been slow, gradual improvement in the 49-year-old rabbi’s condition, and in the next few days, they hope to wean him off his respirator and anesthesia so he will be conscious and able to communicate.
