Pacific Rim leaders speak out on N. Korea nukes

Pacific Rim leaders on Sunday urged North Korea to take concrete steps to live up to its commitments to stop developing nuclear weapons. Leaders of the 21-member Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum made the call in a statement at their annual summit, an official said. Details of the statement were not available because it was only presented verbally at the end of the closed-door summit, underscoring sensitivities over the issue and concerns by some APEC nations about interfering in other countries' affairs.
