Israel and Brazil explore cooperation ties

Ehud Olmert, acting finance minister has met up with The Hon. Geraldo Jose Rodrigues Alckmin, Governor of the State of Sao Paolo over the weekend to explore further cooperation channels between the two countries.
Ehud Olmert, acting finance minister has met up with The Hon. Geraldo Jose Rodrigues Alckmin, Governor of the State of Sao Paolo over the weekend to explore further cooperation channels between the two countries. "There is potential for cooperation between the two countries mainly in the fields of high-tech, medical equipment, internal security, agriculture and energy", said Olmert. During his visit the governor of Sao Paolo met up with several Israeli companies active or interested in Brazil such as Ormat Technologies, Arad Technologies, Teva and others. The visit of the governor was accompanied by a Brazilian delegation of sixty business leaders and statesmen.
