Government employees resume strikes in Tel Aviv

Government employees in Tel Aviv resumed their strikes on Tuesday morning. Israel Radio reported that 1,700 workers would neither attend to the public needs nor answer the phones in protest of poor conditions in their workplace that included security and sanitation hazards. The Interior Ministry said that passport and immigration services would be performed at local offices in the Gush Dan region.
