Israel announces plans to build 2,500 new West Bank units
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman on Tuesday decided to approve the construction of 2,500 housing units in the West Bank.

Most of the unit are located in settlement blocs and about 100 were approved in the Beit El settlement in the Binyamin Region.

"We are returning to normative life in Judea and Samaria," Liberman said of the decision.

In addition to the approved settlement construction, Liberman's office said he planned to present plans for a Palestinian industrial zone near the West Bank village of Tarqumyia.
