Hamas suspends coalition talks with Fatah
The Hamas movement announced suspending coalition talks with the rival Fatah faction, following the violence that broke out all over the Gaza Strip on Friday. Friday's clashes claimed 14 lives, including a 2-year-old baby. Hamas and Fatah representatives announced a ceasefire on Friday evening but gunbattles between gunmen of the rival factions continued after the ceasefire was announced. Friday marked one of the bloodiest days in the Gaza Strip since violence broke out last in December, when Hamas gunmen shot a Fatah leader's car, missing him but killing his children and his chauffeur.
