Dan Izenberg
01/28/2007
President Moshe Katsav's lawyers, Zion Amir and David Liba'i, are due on Monday to receive the material collected by the police during the investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct and other felonies against Katsav. Amir told The Jerusalem Post on Sunday that the material included 20-30 boxes of files. After the lawyers get a sense of the how long it will take them to study the material, they will meet with Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz to decide when the hearing will be held, the last step before Mazuz makes his final decision on whether to indict Katsav, and if so, on what charges.
