New year gift packages abroad expected to rise Five-fingered hamsa good-luck charms, Judaica and Dead Sea cosmetics are among the most popular products sent by Israelis to relatives, friends and customers for the secular New Year, the Postal Authority said on Thursday. It expects a 20 percent increase in express mail services of packages to countries abroad before the end of December compared to the same period in 2004. Express packages can be sent from any of 700 post offices and postal agencies around the country. Delivery status can be tracked at the Authority's Web site at Judy Siegel
