Saudi Arabia beheads man convicted of murder

Saudi authorities on Saturday beheaded a Saudi man convicted of killing a fellow national, the Interior Ministry said. The ministry said in a statement, carried by the official Saudi Press Agency, that Dahyan al-Subaiei stabbed Husayn al-Subaiei to death. The execution was carried out in the holy city of Taif east of Riyadh, it added. Saturday executions brought to 101 the number of people beheaded in the kingdom this year, according to an Associated Press count.
