Balad MK Sa'id Nafa makes trip to Syria with religious group Staff
MK Sa'id Nafa of Balad embarked on a visit to Syria on Thursday, the latest MK from that party to make a trip to an enemy country. Nafa, who replaced former MK Azmi Bishara after Bishara was investigated for espionage, was part of a 330-member religious Druse delegation visiting religious sites in Syria. According to Nafa, the trip was meant to maintain contact between Druse in Syria and in Israel.
