Aviv Alfital picked up Israel's second gold medal at the European Bowling Youth Championships in the final day of the 10-pin competition on Saturday by defeating Svein Ake Ek of Norway 2-0 in the boys' masters final.
Alfital teamed up with Ben Fishler earlier last week to claim Israel's first gold of the competition in the boys' doubles.
Also Saturday, Alfital, Fishler, Dor Speizman, Ori Sonnenschein and Oren Cohen won the bronze medal in the boys' team event and Fishler took the silver medal at the all events competition.
The Israeli girls also recorded two notable achievements during the seven-day competition. Mor Aviram, Liat Vizenfeld and Mor Dayan claimed the silver medal in the girls' trio and Roni Aharonovits became the first female participant in the history of the championships to bowl a perfect 300 game.
