Ousted Chelsea manager Avraham Grant said he rejected an offer to return to the English club in his former position as director of soccer.
"It wouldn't be the right thing to do at this stage," Grant said Tuesday.
Chelsea fired Grant on Saturday, three days after the Blues lost the Champions League final to Manchester United on penalty kicks in Moscow.
Grant said he's on good terms with Chelsea and denied British media reports he has hired a high-profile lawyer to sue the club, stating there are no problems and he is speaking to it directly without a lawyer.
The Israeli said coaching Chelsea was "an amazing experience" and wishes the team good luck.
