Basketball: Hapoel Holon punished for firecracker incident

The National Basketball Association Court punished Hapoel Holon on Thursday for failing to control its supporters after one of it fans, Yossi Malah, threw a firecracker onto the basketball floor during the November 11 game with Hapoel Jerusalem, wounding a security guard. The court ruled that Holon will have to play four games behind closed doors. The club was also given a suspended sentence of a further four games without a crowd, which will be enforced if Hapoel doesn't submit an extensive program to eradicate crowd violence.
