Basketball: Israel loses to Portugal in Eurobasket tourney
National team now has to beat Spain Tuesday and hope other results go in its favor to reach quarterfinal stage.

Israel lost to Portugal on Sunday night by 94 points to 85 in their qualifying round Group E match of the EuroBasket Championship in Madrid.
The defeat means that to reach the quarterfinal stage of the tournament, Israel will now have to beat Spain on Tuesday and hope that on the same day, the loser from Sunday's later game between Greece and Croatia is defeated in its next match.
