Basketball: Kozikaro signs with Haifa Heat

Israel national team center Ido Kozikaro will play for newly promoted Maccabi Haifa Heat next season after signing a one-year deal on Wednesday.

Israel national team center Ido Kozikaro will play for newly promoted Maccabi Haifa Heat next season after signing a one-year deal on Wednesday. The 30-year-old played for Ironi Nahariya last season, averaging 11.6 points and 7.3 rebounds. Also on his way to Haifa is playmaker Amit Ben-David, who has left the relegated Hapoel Afula.
