The World Chess Championship will resume in Moscow on Monday with Game 3 after the first two encounters of the 12-game series between Israel’s Boris Gelfand and defending-champion Viswanathan Anand of India ended in a draw.Anand secured a comparatively easy draw on Saturday to leave the contest tied at one-all in 25 moves. After a tough opener, the Indian got the better of the Israeli as he pushed him to trade queens.“I had a very small and symbolic advantage but black’s position is fine anyways,” said Gelfand after the defending champion was in control of proceedings.“I offered the draw as there was no option left.
