Seven Bnei Sakhnin players were detained and questioned at Ben-Gurion Airport on Wednesday in suspicion that they had attempted to steal perfume from a duty free shop ahead of their flight to Spain where they will play Deportivo La Coruna in the third round of the Intertoto Cup on Saturday. The players were questioned and after an hour were allowed to board their flight, with the inquiry to continue after Sakhnin returns from Galicia. "I don't know exactly what happened, but if this is true we will treat this with all seriousness," said Sakhnin chairman Mazen Ganayem. Sakhnin lost 2-1 to La Coruna in Israel in the first leg of the third round and will need to record a stunning win on the road on Saturday if it's to advance to the UEFA Cup second qualifying round. "The key to success in this match is to score an early goal," Sakhnin coach Freddy David said. "If we can do that than the tie is wide open. We're not giving up despite the fact that we lost the first leg at home."
