Practice, concentration, and determination are the recipe which helped Ben Friedrich win the "A" Division with a net-68 in the Gaash Golf July Monthly Medal.
The "B" Division was won by Moshe Yehezkel on net-70 and the "C" went to Meyer E. Iny on net-75. Ben, the 16-year-old from Hadera once again proved that his move to study scholastics and golf in America has helped his game tremendously.
Ben played the front nine with a birdie, 6 pars and two bogies to finish on one over par 36. He came in on the back nine with 6 pars and three bogies for a 38, giving him a gross score of 74 - minus his "6" handicap - giving him the win with net-68. In second place in the "A" Division was Mike Ossip on net-70.
In the "B" Division second place went to Yeruham Shafat on net-73. In the "C" Division Meyer E. Iny and Rafi Shelef both hade net-75 with Meyer winning on the count-out.
Nearest to the Pin prizes went to Mike Ossip and Ofra Dagan.
The finals of the International Pairs to be held on August 12.
