In the final game of the Israel Softball Association's Babe Gillett Fast-pitch Fall Tournament, Elmhurst Dairy Farmers beat the Dawgs 11-7 to clinch their best-ever sixth place finish and keep the Dawgs winless. Lavey Freedman pitched very well, allowing no earned runs through the first five innings. The Elmhurst defense shined. Michael Bramson did a great job at catcher, gunning out a runner at third and both Binyamin Kamilar and Seth Gerson ran out from their infield positions to make no-look, over-theshoulder catches. Kenny Joungreis made a diving catch at third base to rob a Dawg of a base hit. Aaron Cohen went 2-for-3 and scored four runs. He also went first to third on a stolen base, rounding second at full speed and continuing on to third as the catcher threw the ball back to the pitcher. Freedman went 2-for-3 with a triple and Darius Schwartz also tripled to lead the Farmers' offense.
