Charly and Aviv Levy won the Caesarea Golf Club's annual Hanukka Family Tournament on Friday.
There were 140 competitors in this year's event, in which each golf pair has a family connection. It was the highest number of of players in the last 10 years.
The Levys (Charly, father; and Aviv, son) won Division A with a 64; another father/son duo, Gill and Ilan Peres came in second (65); and brothers Yuval and Itai Lanuel were third (66).
In Division B, it was: 1st - Danny Shevy and Jacob Hizenstein (69); 2nd - David Asayag and David Ayash (69); 3rd - Rachel and Harry Trost (69).
Itamar Cohen sets course record
While visiting Israel, former golf champion Itamar Cohen shot a 10-under par 63 at the Caesarea Golf Club. It is the lowest score anyone at the club can remember.
Cohen, originally from nearby Or Akiva, moved to California a few years ago to try his luck as a professional golfer.
