Four teams remain alive in the 2006/07 American Football in Israel men's contact league Holyland Bowl playoff bracket. Netiv Inmates upset Karelitz 18-12 in the quarterfinals on Saturday night at Kraft Family Stadium in Jerusalem, while Big Blue defeated Stevie's Boyz 41-20 on Friday afternoon. Also Saturday night, Klein Management edged Cobras 12-6 in an overtime thriller and Lobos dominated The Green Mile/IDT Global 28-7. Lobos is scheduled to face Netiv Inmates at 8:30 p.m. on February 10, followed by Big Blue vs Klein Management at 9:45 p.m. The winners advance to the Holyland Bowl, set for February 17. Jaffe Strategies routs Yad Eliezer in high school league Jaffe Strategies defeated Yad Eliezer 41-19 in week 11 of the Yosef Goodman High School American Football in Israel league. Jaffe quarterback Gavi Teitz threw four touchdown passes, including two to Rafi Jaffe, one to Yehuda Baker and one to Justin Hess. Yehuda also threw a TD pass to Rafi, and Justin had a rushing TD. On defense, Justin recorded two sacks, including one for a safety. Ba'al Shen Tov and Kfar Zippori to meet in co-ed league final The top two seeds in the Tuesday Night Football League playoffs, Ba'al Shen Tov (1) and Kfar Zippori (2), advanced to the championship game with convincing victories in their semifinal games this week. The TNFL championship is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. at Kraft Family Stadium on February 13. Last week, Ba'al Shen Tov (10-0) capped an undefeated regular season with an 18-13 victory over Kfar Zippori, and Pardes scored a late safety to upset the HUC Runnin' Rabbis 22-20 in the wild-card game.
