Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maccabi Haifa could still face off in the State Cup final after being kept apart in the semifinal draw, which was held on Tuesday.The reigning Premier League and cup holder Hapoel faces Ironi Kiryat Shmona in its semi at National Stadium in Ramat Gan on May 11, with Haifa to play Maccabi Netanya.“Kiryat Shmona is a young and hungry team, but any side we would have faced would have been tough to beat,” said Hapoel striker Ben Sahar, whose team visits Haifa in a crucial league match on Saturday.“Kiryat Shmona has already given us a difficult time this season, but the cup semifinal is a different story and anything is possible.”Haifa beat Netanya in both teams’ last visit to the semis two years ago. The Greens are looking to lift their first cup since 1998, while Netanya is hoping to reach its first final since claiming the trophy 33 years ago.
