In the men's tournament in Brisbane, Harel Levy claimed his first win in an ATP Tour main draw in more than five years on Monday, thrashing France's Michael Llodra 6-2, 6-0 in just 41 minutes.
Levy, ranked number 119 in the world, won 28 of 35 points on his serve and never faced a break point against Llodra (67).
Levy, whose last victory in a tour main draw came in October of 2004 in Tokyo, will face Brazil's Thomaz Bellucci (36) in the second round.
