11 days to go - Rhythmic Gymnastics team Katerina Pisetsky, Alona Dvornichenko, Raheli Vigdorchik, Veronika Vitenberg and Maria Savenkov make up Israel's only team at the Beijing Olympics. The 22-year-old Pisetsky, who finished the individual competition in the Athens Games in 16th position, is more than two years older than any of her teammates and is the leader of the side. At last year's World Championships in Greece the team recorded an excellent result, finishing in sixth place. At this year's European Championships in Italy, the side proved its worth once more by reaching a second straight final in a major competition, ending the event in fifth place. Despite doing so well at the Worlds and Europeans the rhythmic gymnastic team has no real chance of breaking into the top three in China and will be pleased with a top-8 finish in the qualifiers, which will give the side a place in the Olympic final.
