Israeli Tennis player Shahar Pe'er made personal history on Sunday when she won her first tournament as a professional.
She beat Jelena Kostanic of Croatia in the final of the Patia tournament in Thailand, pocketing $170,000 in the process.
As a result of her victory she is expected to move up from being world number 45 approximately five places in the rankings.
