Andy Ram and Yoni Erlich were eliminated from the Gerry Weber Open in Halle, Germany, on Friday in the quarterfinals by Yves Allegro and Marat Safin.
The top-seeded Israeli pair fell to the hard-hitting Swiss/Russian duo in a match tiebreaker, 6-4, 1-6, (11-9).
The tournament was their first on grass this season, tuning up for Wimbledon, which begins on June 26.
This week they will take their game to the Red Letter Days Open in Nottingham, England, an event they won last year.
