Doron Shaziri won the gold medal at the disabled shooting world championships on Saturday in Switzerland.
Shaziri, a medalist at the Paralympic Games two years ago in Athens, won in the free rifle category with a score of 591 out of a possible 600. The 39-year-old was competing without his coach, European champ Guy Starik, who is himself preparing for the world championships next week in Zagreb, Croatia.
