Maccabi Tel Aviv owner Alex Shnaider was clearly disappointed with his team's 3-1 loss to Hapoel in the Tel Aviv derby on Sunday night, and on Monday again refused to confirm whether coach Nir Levin will be at the team next season. Shnaider had flown into Israel on Sunday to watch the match, but saw Maccabi let in two late goals after coming back from one down. Admitting changes were needed the Canada-based billionaire who lived in Israel as a child spoke to reporters in fluent Hebrew while walking to a meeting. "We can't change everything right now," he said. "We didn't play apallingly but of course things need to be changed." Regarding Levin, Shnaider repeated his sentiments first made public in an interview with The Jerusalem Post last month. "He is a good coach and I want him [at Maccabi] in the meantime. "I am optimistic and I hope to there will be better news for the fans," he added.
