Andy Ram and Yoni Erlich will enter next week's Olympic tennis tournament in a confident mood after advancing to the semifinals of the Cincinnati Masters on Friday. The Israeli duo, which is ranked No. 5 in the world and seeded No. 3 at the $2,615,000 tournament, defeated Simon Aspelin and Jamie Murray 6-3, 6-3 and faced second seeds Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic in the last four late Saturday night. Ram and Erlich won their first ATP Masters Series title at Cincinnati last year, but have struggled in recent months, failing to progress past the quarterfinals stage at any tournament since winning the Indian Wells Masters in March.
