The Montreal Jewish Sports Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for its 2007 induction class until August 23. Candidates must be of Jewish descent (i.e. mother and/or father must be Jewish).
The hall of fame, which is part of the YM-YWHA, is dedicated to the preservation and appreciation of the cultural history and contribution of sports in Montreal. Its objective is to honor Montreal-area athletes, builders and teams that have recorded the most exceptional sports achievements. Inductees are honored each May at an annual gala dinner.
