Ze'evi loses second fight in Beijing; may still have shot at medal

Israeli judoka Arik Ze'evi lost his second fight in the Beijing Olympics Thursday, but was still in the running for an Olympic medal after winning the first round of the under-100 kilogram competition. Ze'evi beat France's Frederic Demontfaucon, the former world champion and Olympic medalist in the event, gaining 10-0 in the match. But he was unable to repeat that success in the second fight, losing 10-1 to Dutch world number one Henk Grol, thus quashing his hopes of winning a gold medal.
