A Jose Duarte hat-trick in 29 first-half minutes stunned Betar Jerusalem on Wednesday evening at Herzliya Stadium and helped Hapoel Kfar Saba reach the final of the Toto Cup. Despite the absence of Toto Tamuz and Gal Alberman, Betar's starting lineup should have been good enough to defeat Kfar Saba and reach the final of the first title awarded every season. However, a poor Jerusalem display and exquisite finishing by Duarte gave Hapoel a well deserved 3-0 victory and a place in the final against Maccabi Herzliya. The Brazilian striker gave his side the lead in the seventh minute when he beat Betar 'keeper Itzik Korenfein to the ball. Thirteen minutes later, Duarte headed in his team's second from the center of the box and in the 36th minute, he completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot.
