Labor filmed its campaign clip starring party leader Shelly Yacimovich on Tuesday, giving The Jerusalem Post a behind-the-scenes look at the production.
The clip, filmed in south Tel Aviv, features Yacimovich, dressed in her usual solid-colored oxford shirt, in front of a plain blue screen, telling a personal story of how her parents saved money to pay her university tuition.
"A cliché-free socioeconomic campaign is what voters are craving," Yacimovich said, adding that the clip targets the middle class.
"We believe that the public is intelligent and can judge which candidate relates to them," she remarked.
The video was directed by Oded Davidoff, who has worked with the party in past campaigns.
