Two 16-year-olds were indicted on Monday for racist attacks and arson on Jerusalem Day.
The two, along with other teens, yelled "Smelly Arab," and "Death to Arabs" at a local Palestinian man who lives in the Old City of Jerusalem. Several of them climbed the door to his garden, and the two who were indicted began to attack the man.
One of them broke a window with a piece of wood, while the other grabbed a washcloth from the man's laundry room, lit it on fire, and threw it at the entrance of the home. The latter defendant threatened the man with a stick and pushed him, causing him a minor injury to his hand.
All the while, during the attack, stones were being thrown at the house.
The house sustained significant damage, including a broken window, a beat up wall and damage to electrical cables. When they finished, the assailants fled the scene.
