U.S. housing starts fell less-than-expected last month, official data showed on Friday.
In a report, the Census Bureau said that the number of housing starts fell to 0.999M, from 1.107M in the preceding month whose figure was revised up from 1.091M.
Analysts had expected the number of housing starts to fall to 0.990M last month.
