The Holiday of Holidays Festival is taking place for the 32nd year in Haifa with more than 30 events between December 11 and 31.

Events will take place at Beit Hagefen and at various locations throughout the city, featuring performances, exhibitions, concerts, plays, family events, lectures, workshops, and tours across Haifa.

Among the festival’s events

• “Psalm for Christmas,” the traditional opening concert of the Holiday of Holidays Festival, weaving together selections by Mozart, Bach, Vivaldi, Gabriel Fauré, and Handel, alongside Christmas carols and Hanukkah songs.

• “A Song Dispels the Darkness,” a performance of folk songs and women’s singing traditions from the region, in various languages, performed by the RANA Choir – a women’s Jewish-Arab choir from Jaffa.

• “Between East and West – Love Songs Without Borders,” in which singer–actor–creator Akram Odeh leads a musical journey of love, longing, and hope through songs in Hebrew, Arabic, English, French, and Spanish.

• SUEÑOS / Ahlam / Dreams – a flamenco performance in Spanish and Arabic featuring dancer Michal Ben Zvi, singer Miriam Toukan, and leading artists in a multicultural artistic collaboration.

• “Festive Holiday of Holidays Concert,” a collaboration between the Orpheus Association and the Haifa Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ronen Borshevsky and Nizar Alkhater, featuring original and classical works, including Mozart’s Coronation Mass.

About the festival

The festival is an initiative of Beit Hagefen – The Arab-Jewish Cultural Center – and the Haifa Municipality.

“Holiday of Holidays celebrates 32 years of culture, creativity, and good neighborliness,” said Haifa Mayor Yona Yahav. “Once again, it will shine a light on Haifa – an exemplary city of coexistence and shared living. The festival, born here at Beit Hagefen, presents music, theater, dance, exhibitions, tours, and a cultural meeting between religions, communities, and traditions – offering us all hope and belief in a better society.
