IDF soldier lightly injured by rock thrower, suspect shot and killed

The assailant was shot by security forces, after failing to respect calls to stop and was being treated by the Red Crescent.

A soldier was lightly injured by a rock thrower near Hebron Thursday evening, according to United Hatzalah.
The assailant was shot by security forces, after failing to respect calls to stop and was treated by the Red Crescent.
The Palestinian later died of his wounds according to the IDF.
When reached for comment, an IDF spokesperson told The Jerusalem Post,"The suspect threw rocks at an IDF unit, resulting in one soldier being lightly injured."
"Forces responded to the assault, which included firing shots in the direction" of the perpetrator.
The IDF is currently investigating the incident, the spokesperson added.
