Police thwart attempted terror attack in Hebron

In the last few weeks Palestinians have executed or attempted to execute 11 knife attacks against security forces in Hebron.

Judea and Samaria police thwarted an attempted terror attack against security forces in Hebron on Monday.
Based on intelligence information detectives stopped a Palestinian car near the Kiosk checkpoint by the village of Azaria outside of Jerusalem.
Police inspected the car and found an improvised explosive device under one of the seats.
Then they arrested the five Palestinians in the car, all of whom were residents of the West Bank city of Hebron.
Police believe that the Palestinians intended to use the explosive device against Israeli security forces in Hebron.
In the last few weeks Palestinians have executed or attempted to execute 11 knife attacks against security forces in Hebron.
No explosive devices have been used to date.
Separately in Hebron, the Judea and Samaria police with the help of the IDF arrested a Palestinian man after they found a rifle and a shotgun in his home.
