Latin pop superstar Juan Luis Guerra will make his Israel debut on October 16 at the Nokia Arena in Tel Aviv.
Over his more than 30-year career, the 56-year-old Dominican singer has sold over 20 million records and won 15 Latin Grammy Awards for his blend of meringue, bachata, bolero, and Afro-pop/Latin fusion.
Guerra studied at the Berklee School of Music in Boston and in 2006, performed at the school’s 60th anniversary alongside Paul Simon and Herbie Hancock.
Guerra was asked by The Rolling Stones and Sting to open up their South American tours in recent years.
