Unforgettable, which just finished its second month of performances and doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon, is a musical tribute show dedicated to legendary artists of the ‘60s and ‘70s, featuring songs by Ray Charles, The Temptations, Nat King Cole, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra and more.
The show stars Zac Hilon, Stella Yudko and Charles Garrett, accompanied by eight musicians. Video art featuring the various original artists accompanies the songs during the 90-minute performance.
“The show can be described as a trip down memory lane,” said Hilon. “We want to see Israelis having a good time and enjoying themselves. It’s a different culture. I feel like we are bringing a musical education to this culture and it’s quite exciting. People are really taking to it, the response has been overwhelming.”
Born in Israel, Hilon moved with his family to South Africa at the age of four. He became a featured singer on many South African TV shows, appeared in numerous commercials, performed at a tribute to Nelson Mandela, formed a band which toured extensively throughout South Africa, and then moved to Las Vegas in 2002. There, Hilon performed at such well-known venues as the Imperial Palace and the Golden Nugget.
Unforgettable, which is based in Israel, has been performed in Germany and Russia, and performances in Amsterdam, South Africa and the United State are in the works.
