Abbas's Spokesman Nabil Abu Rdainah said Tuesday that there would be "big consequences" if the release did not go ahead as planned.

Rdainah said a failure to hand over the final batch of prisoners would represent a violation of an accord struck with the United States and Israel.

"Any violation of this agreement would bring about big consequences," said Nabil Abu Rdainah, without giving further details.
